Pervious

We are certified to install Pervious concrete, which is a highly porous concrete that requires specialized installation skills.

Pervious can be especially useful in applications such as parking lots, driveways, and sidewalks and walkways. There are two main benefits to using Pervious:

High permeability: Water drains quickly through Pervious concrete. This reduces drainage issues, including stormwater runoff, and reduces the need for landscape irrigation as rainwater easily becomes groundwater through the paved surface.  Since the improved and highly distributed drainage reduces the impact of your concrete project on the environment, it can be an excellent addition to your green building solutions. Due to the larger void spaces, Pervious concrete is actually less likely to crack due to freezing.

Reduced heat retention: The larger void spaces in Pervious concrete allow it to remain cooler than traditional concrete. Not only can this make for a more pleasant surface, but it is also environmentally efficient, since it allows your paved surface to handle summer heat more like a natural ground cover.
